Are you looking to 'green' your business? There are many different components to running a Green business successfully. 

Recently, I spent some time in my beloved Spain, in the city of Bilbao in particular. During my stay, I was delighted to see the hotel I had booked did not offer single-use toiletries - I was thrilled. I know for most people this might be a silly thing to get excited about, but when you work in the world of environmentalism, and you see the figures I see in a weekly basis, regarding discarded mini toiletries, this is a big thing.

Very recently, I was asked to be a judge at an awards ceremony for the hospitality industry. I was delighted and honoured to be part of the judging panel amongst other industry experts.

Customer demand for climate change and for all industries to play their part is at an all-time high. Society is changing, their values are changing, and those that align their business to their customer values ahead of the rest, stand to become more successful. So what are you doing, at your hotel or restaurant, to commit and run a greener business? 

A couple of months ago, I watched a documentary by Stacey Dooley on the environmental impact of the fashion industry, and I was floored with the statistics!! I really had no idea that the clothing industry was so damaging, it actually is the second most polluting industry in the world, after oil of course.
